The LittleBigPlanet Union Parliament was the legislative body of the LittleBigPlanet Union from April 18th, 2015 to August 25th, 2016. It was preceded by a similar, unnamed legislature from December 14th, 2013 to April 18th, 2015.

== History ==

=== General Assembly and Security Council ===
On December 14th, 2013, the LittleBigPlanet Union [[Constitution]] was ratified, legitimizing the General Assembly and Security Council. This was the alliance's first formal legislature.

The General Assembly and Security Council were plagued by a severe lack of activity from representatives, as well as the direct democratic system required by the constitution. A three fourths majority of all LBP Union citizens were required to vote on proposals before they could pass. <ref>[[Constitution]]</ref>

One resolution was finally passed by the General Assembly: the [[LittleBigPlanet Union Legal System Protocol]] on April 9th, 2015.

=== Parliament ===
The LittleBigPlanet Union Parliament was introduced by the [[Novus Carta]] on April 18th, 2015 as an improvement over the previous system. It passed five resolutions: three in the Security Council and two in the General Assembly.
