In Early July, discussion about a proposal to regulate espionage and foreign affairs in the Union ended in a stalemate as [[The Dark Akatsuki|Dark Akatsuki]] representatives [[Cold_Wolf102]] and [[Kyuubi_Youko_9]] stood against the proposal, citing that it would give too much power to the Protectors. As President M88youngling looked to move everyone to Discord rather than handling communications on Kik messenger, it was decided among the Protectors that the Union did not really need their leadership.
