From 'refoundation' to the Union's collapse in 2016, Refoundation Day was celebrated as a positive revival against the odds of the aggressive, hateful era of clans that preceded the Union's reformation. In more recent times, Refoundation Day is recognized as a celebration of growth and change. Although the Union from 2013 to 2016 was far from perfect, it was a natural step forward toward what it is today.
