The Confederation was an alliance party founded by Hardware34 in 2018.

History

The Confederation was formed on June 1st, 2018, under the project name "Operation Dark Eyes". Within the same week, the group managed to obtain five member states.

On September 9th, 2018, the Ashina Clan became an official state of the Axis Alliance, effectively forfeiting their place in the Confederation.

On October 13th, 2018, the Confederation's legislature was put in place.

On June 2019, PHOENIX was established as the figurehead of the Confederation.

Government

Legislature

Within the Confederation, legislative power stems from an assembly of leaders and chosen representatives from each clan. This is known as the Confederation High Council. Not all representatives are required to be present during meetings. Meetings are either called by the organisation's head, or alternatively granted at the request of its representatives and other leaders.

Each member state allowed to have one representative, though this is not required. This role effectively grants one authorisation over the member state's foreign affairs, with both the Confederation itself, and other outside groups and alliances, such as the LittleBigPlanet Union.

Trade, whether it be merchandise, information, etc., is highly encouraged. This is to support moral and assistance between clans. Collaborations, where two member states work together on a project, is also encouraged. Trade with outside clans is referred to as exports and imports, and must be authorised before they can take effect. Authorisation is granted when three Confederation leaders or representatives vote in agreement to the action. The member state in question is not allowed to vote.

Member states are guaranteed protection, safeguarding and security from the Confederation.

Further policies may be discussed during general meetings.

Prohibitions

The Confederation has a small number of prohibitions referring to negative actions carried out by its member states. Failure to adhere will result in dismissal.

Member states are prohibited from making unauthorised imports/exports or from joining outside alliances. This act is condemned as smuggling and treason respectively.

Member states are blocked from causing or provoking conflict with outside clans. This act is condemned as warmongering. In the event of self-defence, the Confederation will call upon a parley with the offending organisation.

The act of utilising "heart for heart" or other degrading actions. This act is condemned as cheating.

Each member state is prohibited from making light on religion, race, sex or disability. This act is condemned as descrimination.

Culture and Style

The Confederation draws its influence from the British Empire and the subsequent Commonwealth of Nations.

Infrastructure

The Confederation member states currently communicate over PlayStation Network messaging. There are plans to launch a public Discord server.
