Overview

The NCR was one of the founding father states of the LBPU and one of the few who remain from it's initial refoundation in late 2013. It is a highly influential political body despite it's small size, with two members serving as Union Protectors (Lgmpm as the Vice President and CCSocalGamer as the Minister of Foreign Affairs) and one of those members being the clan's Union representative.(CCSocalGamer) The United States of the New California Republic, often referred to as the New California Republic or the NCR, is an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy on LittleBigPlanet and also a member clan of the LBP Union.

Based primarily on Fallout, the NCR and its administration are highly ambitious and work on various structural projects and hope to attain a large government in the future, however this has been a very slow process. Thus demonstrates the tradeoff of efficiency when it comes to democracy. The NCR however still lives, however is seeking to have other smaller Union clans become NCR states which would help with their structure and the smaller clans' infrastructure.

History

The NCR often cites its history as the Fallout storyline, however the NCR as an LBP clan is presumed to be founded like any other clan, as a few people coming together to form an organization for a specific purpose.

The LBP NCR was established in 2012 by the current NCR President lgmpm.  He was inspired by the Fallout New Vegas storyline and how the NCR was trying to bring law and democracy into New Vegas even though it faced Ceasar's legion it continued to push on with achieving its goal. After he was ignored by other Fallout clans he took it upon himself to establish his own Clan the New California Republic. A few months passed the NCR prospered. Numbers were in the 40's and lgmpm at this time was a Colonel in the NCR Army he saw this time of prosperity as an opportunity to hold elections mainly for the Presidency and Congress. The elections were successful with everyone turning out to vote. Oliver was elected to be President and others were successful in gaining positions in the NCR Congress however at this point lgmpm was not willing to run for Presidency as he didn't feel up to the task yet. Several months passed and the NCR was on track to becoming a major Fallout clan but then came war. Like the NCR of the Fallout universe the NCR of LBP were locked in a war with Caesar's legion this time under the leadership of IceFire and with no apparent agenda. The war lasted until the beginning of Summer 2013 with the NCR emerging victorious. Citizens of the NCR celebrated but in the Government goodbyes were said to President Oliver who stepped down after the war due to issues in the real world. During this time of celebration many NCR officials felt as though they didn't get much out of President Oliver leaving and lgmpm winning the election. So a plan was made and at the start of 2014 lgmpm was impeached and forced to leave the NCR. What was left of the NCR government decide to make a new name for themselves and they established the United States Commonwealths of America (USCA) a clan based on the pre-war United States. The now former President lgmpm went on to join the LBP Union and not long after hearing that the USCA fell lgmpm decided that he would re-establish the NCR but this time he would have the support of his close friend ccsocalgamer and the help of President Michael Youngling of the LBPU. Today with President lgmpm and Vice-President ccsocalgamer the NCR is now on track to becoming its former self again.

Structure

The NCR is fairly small, standing at between 5-10 members, most inactive. However the administration is making progress in restoring the activity and size of the clan via annexing small Union states for mutual benefit. With lots of political positions to fill, the NCR is great for those looking to participate in government affairs of all sorts, such as lawmaking, executive, criminal justice, so on and so forth.
