The Creative Works Administration (CWA) is an organization within the LBP Union Ministry of Inspiration which is responsible for cultivating creative talent and activity across the Beacon custom LittleBigPlanet server. The CWA organizes and judges contests, selects levels to be team picked, and organizes official LBP Union creative projects.
History
Establishment
LBP Union has long been interested in cultivating stronger creative talent in the community. In 2014, the Union Development Team aimed to advance LBP Union's creative position. In 2015, the Master Creators Society took on creative education efforts as a Union member state. The Creative Works Administration eventually became the latest expression of that mission in 2024, organized by the LBP Union Protectors. The name was first mentioned by Lead Protector m88youngling on October 8th, 2023 to LBP Union security leadership. On October 29th, m88youngling announced internally to the team that the Minister of Inspiration had been established as a position, paving the way for the development of the ministry and later the CWA. Indo2042 applied for the position that same day and was later appointed to the position on November 26th.[1]
On January 14th, Indo2042 began creating the '#cwa-welcome' channel on Discord for staff who would later help with the Creative Works Administration. On January 17th, m88youngling announced publicly that the Creative Works Administration had been established and was now recruiting. This led to several applications being received, such as CrankyLandlord, Vivaldos, Yukix64, ZlueTheDragon, and FunkyLGN. Adsffff also applied later that month on January 24th.
