There's been some increased activity in clan nostalgia on twitter and other places lately, mostly because of a certain party of fascists that are causing the usual kekery right now, but it's also brought some people back to this wiki! Wow, people looking at the wiki! Now they can find out how cool the Union is!

Just kidding. I've seen some people look at this wiki and start talking about how the only thing they seem to see are wars, conflict pages, lists of conflicts on clan pages. This made me realize, my entire focus has been on what I personally found the most interesting and stressful. Those being, the foreign affairs, the internal conflicts, etc. I've neglected to talk about how the Union and individual clans and what they have done to contribute to the community.

This next paragraph tangents toward the end because I'm a little pressed for time while writing this, but maybe you will get the point.

This begs the question, how did some of these clans help the community? Even the ones who we associate with doing very bad things? My point is not to make any clan or group, (even the Union) look like a Mary Sue or the salvation of LBP. My point is to shed some light on some of the good clans have done, and provide an argument for how the Union helped make LBP a better place, as well as allow others to do the same with other groups. You can believe whatever you want, but I think it's good to note how the Union helped contribute to the community by making peace between alot of groups, running community events, providing a forum for discussion and collaboration and promoting creative education. I think it's good to note how the Fallen Republic and other Shadow Epoch clans brought about a revolution in design. (despite the obvious elitist consequences that followed.) Yeah, I know alot of people who would say they got sick of the style from that time, but sticker art became very prominent in levels from then on to create high detail with lower thermo use. The sticker art technique was used alot in non-clan levels, and while I'm not sure if Fallen Republic really had anything to do with that, it's worth noting they pioneered it I suppose.

To conclude, I'm going to start focusing more on stuff like detailing the Master Creators Society, Union Swordfighting Competition, and detailing how Union Summits were conducted to feature how clans were able to actually talk to eachother rather than bicker and fight.

P.S., for those upset about this whole Axis thing, I reccomend taking a look at how The Axis/LBPU Conflict was resolved to get a better idea of how to deal with any shenanigans they might be pulling :P

P.S.S, that means ignore them, report them if they're really doing bad things, and move on. it's a game.
