LBP Union Starguard is the LBP Union's official division of moderation over Beacon, the Union's custom LittleBigPlanet server. Its objectives are to maintain security over the server and enforce LBP Union's rules.
History
2022
Starguard was founded on November 14th, 2022[1] to succeed Star Helix, a joint task force between the LBP Union Peacekeepers and Union Space Corps. The first mention of Starguard was during the brainstorming process when Pathfinder Captain Penny (reverentpsycho) suggested it as a possible name for the team on October 31st.[2] Lead Protector m88youngling on November 14th announced to the team that Starguard was accepting applications. To apply, applicants would need to be over the age of 16, a strong sense of responsibility and desire to keep the community safe. Experience with the private beta testing program and moderation experience over other communities were preferred.[3] By the next day, Starguard had eight members, consisting of the following:[4]

2023
On January 3rd, 2023, indo2042 was promoted to Starguard Captain following his experience as Star Commander for the USC and contributions to LBP Union's moderation programs.[5]He served as captain until late November, when it was announced on November 29th that he had been promoted to Minister of Inspiration.[6]On December 15th, Yuki64 was promoted to Starguard Captain.[7]
2024
Sometime in June of 2024, Fenkin_gamer was appointed as Senior Lieutenant of Starguard.[8]
