About the Support Site
LBP Union's support website, powered by Zammad, is a portal that allows users to get help with these topics:
- Beacon account support: renaming and deleting accounts, as well as 2FA resets
- Security: creating grief reports and appeals
Why a Support Site?
Previously, the above topics were handled via the following channels:
- Discord
- Google Form on our website's contact page (requests responded to via email)
A support site is superior to these options because of the following reasons:
- Our team can better collaborate on requests
- Support can be provided without a 3rd party service like Discord, making support more equitable to all users
- Beacon account support requests made using the email address attached to a Beacon account are automatically verified, simplifying request verification
Eventually, the support site will replace Discord for Beacon account support entirely.
